Cross-Country MTB Races

Welcome to Queensland’s Wild Wild West – Summer State Series.

This is it, the race of all races. A series of summer races for riders who have a pure love of mountain biking.

Join hundreds of riders to compete at iconic Queensland mountain bike event locations, to take part in the ultimate summer XC MTB series. This years series will take place over 6 rounds, between November 20th 2021 and March 13th 2022. Each event promises an experience that is sure to be enjoyed by weekend warrior and elite athlete alike.

The Wild Wild West – Summer State Series offers a premium rider experience.

We’re MTB friendly! While the Wild West Series is an XC focussed event, all MTBers are more than welcome. If you are looking to dip your toe into the exhilarating world of XC racing, but don’t have an XC specific bike, this event is an ideal taster of what you’ve been missing. The mixed terrain across the various venues also means there will be areas of certain courses where wider tyres and downhill bikes can excel.

If you are making the transition from recreational mountain biking and want to try out racing, the Wild West Series is an excellent choice for a first cross-country mountain bike race.
